So, realistically, this is the....5th?....6th?....blog I've ever attempted. The majority of those last attempts didn't get past the design phase, while the remainder had at most 1 self-congratulatory post that went absolutely nowhere. I'm fairly certain that this blog is going to lead absolutely nowhere, and I probably will forget that I even started it in about 26 minutes.....

However, I'm nothing if not a quitter, so it's about time I turned over a new leaf and accomplished something that I set my mind to! (Not counting that time I got my name on the wall at Waffle barn, but I digress...)

So, what the heck am I going to write about? I realize that all the best blogs have a general theme, something that they discuss that can be updated regularly, or a chart of their progress in a real time endeavor. These all make sense, because if I don't feel invested in what I have to say, why should you, the  readers reader mom.

So, I've decided to spend the next year cooking every recipe from Julia Childs' The Art of....

....wait, what?.......

.........Julie & Who?..........Meryl Streep?..........You must be thinking of Kramer v. Kramer.......

Well, my inner monologue just informed me that apparently that has been done. My mistake. I doubt they would ever be interested in making a movie of my life paralleling the Galloping Gourmet. Besides, who could even play me in THAT movie? (not pictured:Tiny Tim)

But again, I digress....(twice in one day, perhaps I call my physician.....)

I've been trying to think of what relevant and entertaining subject I could relay, without having been already done, already discussed, already forgotten. What is it that I, Blake L          (no last times, I have many enemies...) have to say?

And I think that's just it, I have everything to say! I can barely shut up in person, here's my opportunity to virally infect people with my babble online! (Phrasing......)

So, this is what my blog will be: The Blake Sheep, the inner thoughts and outer limits of a taller than average white male. To quote Patrick Star "The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma...."

So, while what I say will not always be interesting, relevant, endorsable, believable, reliable, or even normal, the one thing I can assure you is that there will always be plenty of it. If there's one thing I can do it's talk incessantly, but unlike in real life, you can click to close at any time, so, win win!

Either way, this is where I'm starting. If I see a path appear, I'll take it, but for now, I'm letting you step into my head, letting you experience what I think about on a day to day basis, and hopefully giving you some food for thought.....

Mahalo for removing your shoes.
